About Ben Gordon

Benjamin Gordon is CEO of Cambridge Capital, a West Palm Beach-based private equity investor in transportation, logistics, and supply chain technology businesses. The Cambridge team includes CEOs and leaders who have built companies like GENCO, FedEx Supply Chain, Kuehne & Nagel LeadLogistics, UPS, and others. Benjamin is also Editor-in-Chief of SUPPLY CHAINS, Cambridge’s publication that focuses on trends and opportunities resulting from both old-economy transportation and new-economy technology.
Ben Gordon founded BG Strategic Advisors (BGSA), a West Palm Beach-based investment banking firm for the supply chain sector. BGSA helps supply chain CEOs to maximize their value via mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic initiatives. Benjamin has worked with firms such as UPS, DHL, Kuehne & Nagel, Agility Logistics, NFI Logistics, GENCO, Nations Express, Raytrans, Echo Global, Dixie, Wilpak, and others. At BGSA, Benjamin Gordon leads the annual BGSA Supply Chain conference, the largest annual conference for CEOs from all segments of the global supply chain.
Prior to Cambridge Capital, Benjamin Gordon founded 3PLex, among the first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) transportation management systems (TMS) for the logistics sector. Benjamin raised $28 million from blue-chip investors including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BancBoston Ventures, Con-Way, and Ionian. 3PLex has since sold to Maersk.
Prior to 3PLex, Benjamin Gordon led strategy projects in transportation and technology at Mercer Management Consulting, where he developed one of the first Internet logistics growth strategies for a supply chain client.

Benjamin Gordon is a civic leader who is committed to giving back to the community. As founder and chairman of GesherCity, he boosted young adult volunteerism, expanding the organization to over 100,000 members in twenty locations. Benjamin has also served on the Boards of several non-profit groups, including the Palm Beach United Way, the Palm Beach Federation, the Palm Beach Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), the JDC, the JCCA, the Middle East Forum, and various other community organizations. Benjamin has also served as Chairman of the Palm Beach Chapter of YPO.
Education
Benjamin Gordon earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale College.
